Beimen Station. Beimen Station is located in the eastern district of Chiayi City, Taiwan. It is the station of the Alishan Forest Railway Alishan Line. The traveler happened to encounter the Sleeping Forest, which was sorting out the environment, so it was a bit messy.
During holidays, many people come here to take pictures~after all, there are many cute animals.
The only animal that doesn’t sleep~looks like the black cat from Black Cat Delivery.
There is a 50-year-old lotus tree in the forest. It is very tall and has very dense leaves. Workers were pruning it that day.
The combination of dense trees and these cute sleeping animals really feels like a forest.
Because I was pruning that day, there are still some animals that I haven’t photographed yet, waiting for everyone to discover~
Chiayi Beimen Station
Next to the Sleeping Forest, there is the Beimen Forest Railway Story Hall, which you can also visit.
In 1899, the Japanese discovered a large area of forest in the Alishan area and planned a logging plan to build this railway.
Then we came to the Chiayi City Heritage North Gate Station, which was completed and opened in 1912.
The entire main body of the station is built using Alishan red cypress.

The Alishan Forest Railway and the Kurobe Gorge Railway in Japan have become sister railways.

It just so happened that during my spring trip to Chiayi, the Alishan Cypress Love Train was available from 5/1 to 6/30 .

Take the Hinoki train from the north gate to Chiayi Railway Station.
